Ancient Mythology

Cernunnos | Celtic Mythology

Also known as Cern or Cernenus.

Cernunnos was a Gaulish god of agriculture and fertility worshipped in ancient Europe.

Cernunnos is pictured as a diety with antlers, and is usually surrounded by other animals, especially stags and ram-horned snakes.

In neopaganism, Cernunnos is among a number of dieties that are synthesized into the notion of the Horned God.
